I’m going to tell you about my experience with the blog.

Make a blog was a totally new experience for me. I never did a blog on some other subject. It was an entertaining experience, is good to learn english writing about topics that we like.

I must admit that is difficult to bring the ideas from Spanish to English, but to do a blog, but make a blog is a good way to learn and write. Also, blogs are useful to share with the people things that we like or think.

I think my writing skills were developed a little, English is very difficult to me! Anyway, the blog helped me to improve my writing.

My favorite posts were music and pets; I think I could write a lot about these topics. I think other topics might be about books, movies and series, I think most people have at least one favorite movie or book, and when are interesting topics the people are motivate to write.

I think the posts detracted time to classes, maybe could be like a homework. In addition, often is hard to write with many people in the classroom (there are not inspiration and concentration).

That is what I think about blog.

Pets

Today I’m going to tell you about pets.

During my life, I had mostly cats. I remember at least four cats: Happy, Rubén, Willy and Diego (they were the most important). I also had other pets like hamsters.

At present, I have a cat, her name is Luna.  Luna is 11 years old. She came to live with us in 2004 when she was just a baby. Her birthday is September 17. She is part of our family. Luna is very special, she accompanies me when I study at night, we sleep together, when she was a little cat she ran by the walls (it sounds strange but she did that). I really love her. Now, she became totally sedentary. What she loves to do is eats and sleeps, in fact, she eats too, she is too fat.

Luna has a complicated personality; she has a bad temperament. Luna is angry almost all the time. I think that she hates everyone, but sometimes she shows her friendly side. I think she has a peculiar way to express affection.

We have tried to have more cats or other pets, but Luna is very jealous and we can’t. Whatever, I feel that I don’t need more pets, I like to give all my love to my cat.

My favorite subject this semester

Today I’m going to tell you about my favorite subject.

This semester I have nine subjects, including two CFG. My favorite subject is Olive Oil Production, is an elective subject. I have to do practical and theoretical activities. We went twice to field and we had to do an oil. It was very funny.  Furthermore, we had two theoretical test. These activities were with grade. We also had workshop where we did oil tasting. In general, it was an easy subject because it was fun. I liked this subject because the contents are interesting and the teacher is likable. Furthermore, this subject teaches you things that are useful for daily life, for example, if you go to supermarket you can choose a good olive oil, I mean, that have quality parameters within allowable ranges (if you or your family consume olive oil, this is very practical). Olive Oil Production is a totally recommendable subject that you can to do. It was nice to have found a subject in the university that really really really liked me, I mean, there were others subjects that I liked, but definitely I loved Olive Oil Production.

A career-related website

Today I’m going to tell you about websites related with agronomy.

I have not any favorite website related with agronomy, but generally I use several websites that be useful me to study and to do homeworks. For example, the website that I usually use is YouTube, I watch videos there that help me to understand the classes. When I was at first and second year of the career I visited “Unicoos” to complement chemistry, physics, calculus and algebra, really helped me. In YouTube I always find useful videos and I visit this website every day. I like watch videos in YouTube because I think that is an easy way to learn and reinforce what teach us at the university. To use YouTube, you have to get in www.youtube.com and write in the search engine what you want to find.  Another website that I use is the official website of ODEPA and FAO, from there I get data to do homeworks.  ODEPA is a Chilean website where you can find statistical data about several agronomy sectors and FAO is “Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations” is in charge of food security.

Music

Today I’m going to tell you about music that I like.

I love music. I grew up in a home full of music. My mother, my uncles and my brothers always listened to music, so, since I was a little girl I like listen to music.

I like listen to music almost all the time, when I’m at home, when I travel to some place, when I try to sleep I also like listening to music and many others occasions.

I like a lot of music from different styles and artists. The bands that I like for my family are The Beatles, The Police, Simply Red, The Rolling Stones and Queen. There are others bands and singers that I like: Radiohead, Muse, Pearl Jam, Florence and the machine, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Travis, Chris Cornell and many others. I also like Chilean music like Lucybell, Sinergia, Los Mox and Villa Cariño.

 It is very difficult to choose a favorite artist, however, I think that my favorite band is Foo Fighters. In 2012 I went to see them when they came to Lollapalooza.

The photograph that I like

Today I’m going to tell you about the photograph that I like.

Genellary, I like a lot of photographs but this is my favourite:

My favourite photograph is was taken in 1995. It was summer, I was 2 years old approximately. That day, I went to the pool with my family. The pool was “Rocas del Padre” in Pirque (my mother told me, I was too young to remember). In the photograph  I am with my brothers, my sister Karen and my brother Mauricio. We were too young, actually my brother is 35 years old and my sister is 31 years old. I love this photograph because I remember my childhood. We were very happy when we lived together. Even though I am the minor, my brothers  gave me a lot of love, they still do. We are very close. In the photograph we seem to be so happy, without worries, so close as always and enjoying the moment.

I would like to be young again and to live without worries! But all we must grow up sometime.

Food

Today I’m going to tell you about the food that I like.

I love to eat but I don’t like many foods. Generally I like to eat sweet things, like chocolate and desserts. My favourite type of food is the chocolate although maybe it not considered like food.

 The meals that I like are rice with French fries, lentils and burgers. The vegetables that I like are broccoli, artichoke and spinach; I like others vegetables but these are my favourites. I also like to eat sushi and Chinese food.

Sometimes I like to go to eat fast food, actually I love fast food but I try to don’t eat so much for my health.

In the evenings when I get to my home, I like to drink coffee with cookies.

I also like to eat ice cream, my favourite favlor is pistachio.

Finally I can tell you that among all foods, my favourite is chocolate forever and ever.
